NURSERY RHYME BY D.P

The Barquito

Where are you bound, little sailor so fine?
Wherever the wind will car-ry.
And when do you leave, O mariner mine?
Tonight, when the tide is high.
And what if the Barbary pirates are nigh?
Why, I’ll blast ‘em to Tipperar-ree
Do you think you’ll return by suppertime?
Perhaps, if there’s apple pie.
--D.P. 2008
